En The Game Awards 2024 está nominado The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, al igual que otros videojuegos para Nintendo Switch.

Este lunes se revelaron los videojuegos nominados para The Game Awards 2024 y como es usual algunos de ellos son desarrollados por Nintendo y sus estudios. Igualmente, no faltan los que están disponibles en su consola actual, el Nintendo Switch, así que conviene dar un vistazo a los candidatos para llevarse un premio. Uno de los que están considerados es The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, que está compitiendo en dos categorías.

La aventura de la Princesa Zelda compite en Best Action/Adventure Game contra Astro Bot, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Silent Hill 2 y Star Wars Outlaws. En cuanto a Best Family Game de nuevo enfrenta a Astro Bot así como a Princess Peach: Showtime!, Super Mario Party Jamboree y The Plucky Squire. Super Mario Party Jamboree, mencionado antes, está nominado como Best Multiplayer Game pero cuenta con fuertes competidores.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom compite en dos categorías de The Game Awards 2024

La más reciente entrega de la serie de Mario Party enfrenta a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Helldivers 2, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 y Tekken 8 en The Game Awards 2024. El recientemente lanzado Pokémon TCG Pocket también entra en las nominaciones y está en la categoría Best Mobile Game. En este caso tiene de rivales a AFK Journey, Balatro, Withering Waves y Zenless Zone Zero. Los títulos para el próximo año igual están contemplados.

Eso es en Most Anticipated Game, donde está Metroid Prime 4: Beyond enfrentando a Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Ghost of Yotei, Grand Theft Auto VI y Monster Hunter Wilds. Hablando de títulos disponibles en Nintendo Switch está Neva, el cual está nominado en Games For Impact Award y compite con Closer the Distance, Indika, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II y Tales of Kenzera: Zau. Igual está en más categorías.

Una de ellas es la de Best Independent Game donde Neva encara la competencia de Animal Well, Balatro, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes y UFO 50. A su vez Animal Well y Balatro aparecen juntos en Best Debut Indie Game enfrentando a Manor Lords, Pacific Drive y The Plucky Squire. Neva igual está en la de Best Art Direction con Astro Bot, Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree y Metaphor: ReFantazio. Balatro es un caso especial.

Cinco videojuegos en especial compiten por el título de Game of the Year

Además de estar en las categorías dichas antes de The Game Awards 2024 está en la de Best Game Direction con Astro Bot, Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth y Metapahor: ReFantazio. También en la competencia de Game of the Year con Astro Bot, Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth y Metapahor: ReFantazio. Sí, son bastantes similares.

Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics compite en Best Fighting Game con Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising y MultiVersus. Y Unicorn Overlord en la de Best Sim/Strategy Game donde enfrenta a Age of Mythology: Retold, Frostpunk 2, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess y Manor Lords. Por último, en Best Innovation In Accesibility está Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown contra Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Igual compite en esta categoría de The Game Awards 2024 con Diablo IV, Dragon Age: The Veilguard y Star Wars Outlaws. Por cierto, EA Sports FC 25 y NBA 2K25 igual enfrentan otros títulos deportivos. La entrega de premios será el jueves 12 de diciembre de 2024 y el previo iniciará a las 4:30 p.m. PT, las 6:30 p.m. según la hora del centro de México.
